 | Press releases and News

Universities Finland UNIFI, representing all Finnish universities, has contributed ideas to the mission-oriented approach proposed for the next European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP9). The position paper builds upon Finland’s preliminary views on FP9, combining Finnish national priorities, research profiles of Finnish universities, and bottom-up proposals from the Finnish scientific community. The drafted paper is also in line with the European Union and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

In the paper UNIFI proposes:

A) Key principles of a successful mission-oriented approach, and

B) Missions and research priorities contributing to the achievement of the overall goal.
